Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit ranging from Rs 5,000 to 20,000 will be charged Based on the car model. During limited-period offers, this amount might be lower. The deposit will be refunded within 10 bank working days after the booking's end time, following verification of FASTag charges and traffic violations. Please note that traffic violations will be reflected in the government portal 3-4 days after the booking’s end time.

Pricing plans and extra Kms charges

We offer multiple-kilometer packages based on Guest requirements, each with a specified kilometer limit. The total kilometer limit for your booking is calculated by multiplying the duration of your booking by the hourly kilometer limit of the selected pricing plan. If you drive more kilometers than the total limit of your booking, additional kilometers will incur extra charges, which vary by car model and city.

Fuel Reimbursement

All our kilometer packages exclude fuel. We request that you return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel. To qualify for a fuel refund for excess fuel returned, you must provide more than 20% compared to the trip start fuel percentage, along with the vehicle number at the time of drop-off. Please note that we will NOT be able to reimburse fuel bills shared with us later.

The fuel expense should reasonably reconcile with the standard fuel efficiency of the car. For reconciliation purposes and the benefit of the Guest, we assume a lower mileage than what is defined by ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India). The fuel bill date should fall within the booking period, and hand-written fuel bills will be considered invalid.

Cancellation and Charges

Guests can cancel their booking under the following conditions and charges. A cancellation refund will be issued through the original payment method within 10 bank working days.

Guests must inform us at least 24 hours before the booking start time. In such instances, 70% of the amount will be refunded. Failure to inform us 24 hours before the booking start time will result in no refund.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the booking start time. The following conditions apply based on car availability:

  • We cannot pre-pond the booking start time.
  • The duration of the rescheduled booking should be the same or longer.
  • The kilometers package cannot be changed.
  • Tariffs might differ based on the weekday and weekend charges. ​

Extension and Extra Hours

Guest s must inform us at least 24 hours before the booking end time for any extensions, subject to car availability.

  • Extension duration should be at least for 6 hours.
  • Guest s are entitled to a 1-hour buffer time after the booking end time.
  • If the extension is requested after the 1-hour buffer time, extra charges of 1.5X (0.5 times will added to the actual price)
  • If no extension is requested after the booking end time, extra charges will be 3X per hour will apply (Penalty)
  • Guests must share a complete video of the car to avail of these services.

Swapping Vehicle

Guests must inform us at least 24 hours before the booking start time for vehicle swaps, subject to car availability. Charges may vary depending on the car type.

Over speeding

The speed limit is between 80 and 100 km/h. If a Guest exceeds the 100 km/h limit, they will be charged INR 500 for each violation.

Vehicle Damage

In case of Guest negligence such as:

  • Not complying with traffic laws or the terms of the Car Sharing Agreement between Host and Guest.
  • She / He was driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.

Accident Policy

In the event of vehicle damage, the Guest is responsible for all losses and damages, regardless of the cause. The Guest must pay 4Cars for any loss or damage to the car, irrespective of the cause.

In case of an accident, the Guest's liability is limited to a maximum of Rs 30,000. The Guest must pay a damage fee equivalent to the repair cost (as estimated by an authorized dealership) and downtime losses (the rent for the number of days the vehicle is unavailable). This is in addition to any insurance coverage that 4Cars may have on the cars.

The maximum liability policy is designed to protect the responsible Guest. However, there may be exceptions to this policy in cases of irresponsible, unsafe, or negligent usage. In such situations, the Guest could be liable for all damages, regardless of 4cars ability to claim insurance. Examples of such situations include:

  • When the vehicle workshop and/or insurance company deem the damage to be consequential in nature. Consequential damage occurs when the Customer continues driving the vehicle even when it is performing abnormally.
  • Beach /off road drive is prohibited for JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP vehicle and customer will be liable to pay a compensation of Rs 8000/- in addition to other damages, if the vehicle is taken for beach/off road drive.
  • JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP vehicles are restricted to use for the purposes that are forbidden & prohibited by the law; customer will be sole responsible & liable for all legal actions & consequences for such usage.
  • When the person driving the vehicle at the time of the incident is found to be different than the one who made the booking.
  • When the Customer is not in compliance with the laws and/or with terms of the JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP Customer Agreement.
  • When the Customer is found to be under the influence of alcohol/narcotics while Driving.
  • When the number of people in the car at the time of the incident exceed the standard seating capacity of the car.
  • When the incident happened in a state for which the Customer failed to pay the inter-state tax while entering the state.
  • When there is misrepresentation of information in the driving license and ID proof details shared by the Customer.
  • Where there is clear evidence of extremely rash and negligent driving on the Customer’s part.
  • When the Customer is in violation of traffic rules or of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP conducts periodical checks on vehicle performance and ensures that hired vehicles are clean. JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP expects its customers to help us maintain our standards of cleanliness. The Customer must ensure that the vehicle is not soiled while returning possession. JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP shall charge the following damages and penalty shall deduct from the Security Deposit of the Customer.

  • Use of chewing gum, tobacco or any tobacco-based product inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Customers will be penalized accordingly.
  • Burning of any substance inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. This is not limited to but includes cigarettes, incense sticks or any form of medication/drugs.
  • Visible fabric stains internally.
  • Torn fabric inside vehicle.
  • In case if pets are allowed inside the vehicle.
  • Presence of sand, excessive mud inside the vehicle.
  • JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP reserves the right to block, penalize, fine the Customer at our own discretion in event of non-compliance of the above.

Interstate Trip

Customers are responsible for paying all tolls & state permits. JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP vehicle are registered with an all-India Permit, allowing the vehicle to enter any state of INDIA.

All JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP vehicles contain Original Documents of RC Card, Insurance, All India Permit, Self-Drive License. Please stop the vehicle at the border RTO check post to obtain valid state permit by paying reveleant charges only for the state of Andhra Pradesh and Kerala JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP will charge flat 400/- for existing vehicles which have the state entry permit. If a customer plans to go Andhra Pradesh/Kerala, then the customer should inform our customer care to allocate the vehicle which has a valid permit. In cases of non-available of existing AP/Kerala state entry permit vehicles, then Customer must pay the fee and obtain a 1-year state entry permit. JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP will reimburse balance amount after deduction of INR 400/- (Flat charges on state entry permit)

Provided with original copy while ending the trip. JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP will not reimburse quarterly entry of Kerala/Andhra Pradesh.

Fastag

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) FASTAG features are available in all the JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP hassle free trip on national highway tolls, if the customer utilizes the Fastag features used in the trip duration respective amount shall be deducted from the security deposit based on the trips against your booking.

Towing Charges

User negligence/accident- Full cost should be paid by the customer. ​

Personal Belongings

JAAAGA INFO SOLUTIONS LLP is not responsible for any damage to, Loss or theft of any personal property belonging to user or co-passenger or third party regardless of fault or negligence.
